PROJECTS

STORMWATER RESILIENCY PLAN
I developed a Stormwater Resiliency Plan that secured $1.9 million in grant funding for Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, NY. The plan involved a multifaceted approach, leveraging data analysis, Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, and extensive collaboration with stakeholders to develop solutions that seamlessly integrate into the sensitive landscape.

COASTAL FLOODING RISK ASSESSMENT
Analysis of coastal flood risk in New York City by evaluating exposure, sensitivity, and consequence metrics related to the 500-Year Floodplain for the 2050s based on FEMA's Preliminary Work Map data and the New York Panel on Climate Change's 90th Percentile Projects for Sea-Level Rise. By analyzing comprehensive datasets on resilience indicators, demographics, and economics, the study calculates a risk index for each census tract within the floodplain.

WATER CONSERVATION PLAN & CONSTRUCTION
I identified a water leak costing $100,000 annually through an assessment of water bills and usage patterns that was affecting water pressure. I developed a design solution that bypasses the leak and maintains water service to the affected area. I worked with the client to hire an engineer-of-record and contractors for the proposed design and construction.
We conducted a carbon footprint assessment for a tech company, identifying opportunities to reduce emissions and improve sustainability. Our recommendations helped the company achieve its carbon reduction goals and enhance its reputation as a leader in sustainable business practices.
